Ride on safe mode

Riding a motorcycle is a great thing, still it is a really dangerous sport so in order to make it safer, there are some security clothes that you can wear. These may be a helmet and jacket plus gloves, some protective pants and boots. Even if only the helmet is compulsory, the rest of the equipment is recommended for a safe ride.

The helmets are the most essential security items when it comes to motorcycling. These helmets protect the head in case of a fall, there are helmets that can cover the entire face for maximum protection and full face helmets include openings which will allow the rider to breathe normally. However, the full face helmets will limit the view of the motor biker, this being one main drawback of these helmets.

You can choose also regular helmets that will also protect your head, the full face helmets being recommended mostly for off road riders. Next in line, there’s the jacket. This item may be made of nylon, of the leather, or of Kevlar. The jackets feature some stronger materials at the elbow and shoulder, also to protect these areas. The gloves may also be made of nylon or leather or Kevlar, but may also have carbon fiber knuckle protection.

The boots are designed to keep the ankle still and give protection to the fingers. Many boots have plastic in this area. The motorbike riders in competitions wear armours, which give them protection for the upper side of the body. The armor is generally manufactured in plastic and will do great in avoiding ugly injuries caused by a fall or collision with other motorbikes.

The plastic armor will also prevent from dislocation of the back and will also do well against broken bones. The armors are created in the way that they are resistant to heat, so there is no danger of these items melting. The latest tech in armors can provide you with airbag system as well, but you have to know that these armors will still not be 100% safe.

The leather accessories and clothes offer protection of drilling and abrasion to a rider that falls from the bike. The best leather for this use is the cow leather which is very durable. Lately, the kangaroo leather gains popularity, as it is very flexible and light, so it won’t bother you while you ride. So, if you want to keep yourself in one piece and safe from harm, drive in the safe mode and use the motorbike security clothes.

There are many manufacturers of protective clothing and it can be a daunting thought deciding on what you think is most practical for. If you are unsure or need some advice, contact your motorcycle_dealer
